**Definitions:**

*1. Wedding*

A Wedding is determined by:

A wedding reception is a social gathering that typically follows a wedding ceremony, where the newly married couple and their guests come together to celebrate the marriage. It is usually a formal or semi-formal event that includes wedding flowers, wedding cake, wedding attire, dinner, speeches, drinks, music, dancing, and other entertainment. The focus of a wedding reception is on the couple and their union, and it is typically attended by family and close friends of the couple.

*2. Celebration Function.*

A party is a more general term that can refer to any type of social gathering or event that is less or semi organised for a specific purpose or occasion. It can include a wide range of events such as birthday parties, corporate events, charity functions, and other similar events. Unlike a wedding reception, a function party is far less formal, requires less management, level of detail and doesn’t have a specific focus on a couple or their union, Guests may include a broader group of the general public (via tickets),members, acquaintances and colleagues. The style and format of a function party can vary widely depending on the occasion, the host’s preferences, and the type of guests being invited.
